Firefox just completely changed my entire account and I cannot find my many pictures that were there before
Yesterday morning (Wednesday August 15th) at 7:05AM PT Firefox took over my computer to make changes (applications I believe). When they completed their work and returned my computer to me, I went online and discovered that all of my windows and tabs had been removed and just about everything that had been there before was no longer there. Then, when I went into my Yahoo email account, there was mail there to which I wanted to respond and to attach some of my photos. I wrote my letter and I clicked the mouse on the attachment symbol to add photos from my "Pictures" Folder in my Account and NOTHING came up, not even one of the hundred or more photos that I had in my Pictures folder. I then went into my File Explorer and clicked on "Pictures" and it opened the "Picture" File and there were no photos to be found there!!! I would just like to know what has happened to all of my photos that were in the "Pictures" Folder and if all the other File Folders in my File Explorer were also affected by this drastic change??? I will anxiously await your reply and sincerely thank you for any assistance you may be able to offer..

Hi avb650, I'm not sure what you mean by this:

A Firefox update usually runs automatically in under a minute. Is that what happened? I'm not clear on what you mean about taking over your computer.
Possibly the Refresh feature ran. The tell-tale sign is a folder on your Windows desktop named Old Firefox Data. Do you see anything like that?
