This like my other problem only started after firefox wouldn't shut up again updating.

Nothing will load in Firefox. Chrome and everything else works fine it's just firefox I get no error message it just sits there acting like it's doing something but nothing not even the name of the web site shows up unless it's the home page when I open firefox. I tried everything at, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-and-other-browsers-cant-load-websites and already did a clean install that seems to have fixed my other problem but this one seems to still be here. It also seems to be an on/off thing some time's it works just fine other like now nothing. I've also disabled all my anti-virus and protection and nothing.

What's your computer system and Firefox version?

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see

Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}

looks like it might have been my uBlock Origin add on. When I start firefox in safe mode it works fine and even after i relaunch so not sure what's up with that then just now when it wouldn't load i disable uBlock Origin and everything poped up.

If the problem returns, disable uBlock as a test. You can also tell uBlock to not block that site.

Note: uBlock filters get updates now and then.

the thing is it's EVERY SITE nothing would load and the title bar wouldn't even show the web site name so I don't know if it's really the add on cause like i said after I load it up in safe mode it worked fine with the add on.

it has to do with uBlock Origin but since they add on people don't let you message them I guess blocking ads on firefox is a meh, cause other add ons don't block ALL of them.

This is the big reason I don't use such programs. They decide what site you can go to.

I noticed that you posted on Reddit just now, where you mention using uBlock Origin version 1.18.12, but the developer updated his extension 16 hours ago to version 1.18.14 ....

Maybe if you'd update the extension it would make a difference  ?

I tried the browser.tabs.remote.autostart to true and so far it's good started up the first try so ill keep an eye over a few days and mark it

Tho it does seem the add on auto updated to .14 last night before I logged off for work so it could be that too.
