Registering with some websites, Firefox does not offer to generate a secure password for me. Is there any way round this?
If there is no easy way round this, can anyone give me a hint of how I could make a custom web page, stored locally, that would force Firefox to generate such a password that I could cut and paste?

My way is this; I open a text file where I store my passwords. place my fingers on the keyboard and randomly start pressing keys in no pattern. After pressing so many keys, I go back and make sure the website will except it. (upper case, lower case, numbers, special symbols . . .)
I copy this to the website. If it is not excepted, I start over,
In the event that the passwords information is lost, you
should record all information in a separate text file
somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down.
You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If
you are concerned about someone else looking
at that file, you can compress it using a password.
