I have an application which takes up about 122px across the bottom of my screen.

I would like to run Mozilla without the url address box and other controls displayed, as in Fullscreen mode, but for Mozilla to only take up the ScreenSpace above the application, e.g only use 950px Height of the 1050 px Height available.

The other application is made to reserve ScreenSpace, however this reserved screenspace doesn't seem to function when the Windows Desktop is not loaded, and So the Fullscreen mode Mozilla expands beneath the application.

How can I set the Mozilla Window in FullScreen mode to maintain a specific Size?

Full screen, using the icon at the upper-right of the browser window, is one size only; full screen. Select the not full screen and then,

Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars {web link}

Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar.

Note: about:customizing is no longer present in Firefox v47+ releases.

  • Press Alt or F10 to bring up the Menu Bar.
    Then View > Toolbars > Customize.
  • Right-click on a blank spot in the toolbar and select Customize.

Look for Show / Hide Toolbars at the bottom left.

There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.
