How to get a password from firefox.
Hello,
I have a problem that firefox saved my login details and does not ask for the password when logging in, but I do not see this data in the password manager, and I urgently need to read this password because I forgot it. Can I ask you for advice on this matter? How can I restore the display of saved passwords in my firefox?
Thank you for any tips and help.

Did you try to get access to that email account via a password reset ?
Don't you have any backups of your personal data that you could possibly use ?
You can check if you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop in case the Refresh feature in Firefox has been used and a new profile has been created.

Is this about the password for the Firefox Account used for Sync ?
Firefox may not have stored the real password unless you have visited the accounts.firefox.com website if you can't find it in the Password Manager. Firefox stores the credentials for the Firefox Account as kA and kB in JSON format in the Password Manager (chrome://FirefoxAccounts) and uses that to login automatically, but entry is hidden from Lockwise.
If you do not remember this password then you will have to reset the password, but that will remove all data stored on the Sync server. Resetting this password doesn't affect data on your computer in the current profile folder. Because you can view passwords in Lockwise, I assume that you do not have a problem with your current profile folder.
Can't you remember this password at all ?
It's about my Facebook password.
This is a problem on my other computer, I don't have sync with firefox there. After entering the "Saved passwords" menu, the list is empty, although I can still log in to Facebook without entering my login and password. Is there any chance to get this data from Firefox? I know the email address, but not the password.
I also don't remember the email details, so the only rescue is to pull the password out of the browser somehow.
Somewhere firefox keeps this password if I can still log in?
I'm just afraid that when firefox loses sessions and asks me for a password, I will lose my Facebook account. From Facebook, unfortunately, when changing the password, it asks me for an old password that I don't remember.
If you login automatically then this is likely done via a special 'remember be' cookie that stores a cession ID. If you know the username, but not the password and you can't find the password in the Password Manager on either device then you will have to click a forgot password link on the Facebook login website and request a new password.
The problem is that for the email address that is assigned to the facebook account I also don't remember the password, so I won't be able to read the new password that facebook will send to me :(

Thank you for the tips. The password was recovered, so the problem is resolved. Regards :)
