Hey guys

I never had a problem with Firefox on my old computer, it's my go-to browser and I immediately downloaded it for my new high end gaming computer that I bought a few days ago. It works perfectly, streaming content is no problem whatsoever. Except on twitch. I get a sound stuttering and occasionally also an image stuttering. My internet is fine and I never experienced it with the old computer.

After googling I saw recommendations to turn off hardware acceleration but this solution did nothing to fix my problem...

Any ideas?

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

The problem might not be the FireFox browser. Try checking your audio drivers, and try reinstalling them

Deleting cache and cookies did nothing. However, starting it in safe mode removed the stutter... Where can I go from here? As I said the computer is brand new so there's no crap on it.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting for changes to take effect.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
