How to remove drop down Websites from address bar; Firefox 81.0.1 and Windows 7 ?

For history items you can use the cursor Down key to highlight and item and press Shift+Delete. Items that have a star attached are bookmarks and can't be removed permanently. Items that have a pin icon attached are added from the Firefox Home page and need to be removed from that page.
