My Thunderbird program on my Windows 7 machine has 103,000 emails in the Inbox. It has not downloaded any more emails since Nov. 24 and still won't download anything. No problem SENDING emails. Does Thunderbird have a maximum capacity? Why won't it download new emails now?

I did delete several hundred emails, but still no new mail gets downloaded. How do I fix this? Reply to k9vet@rcn.com, please! Thanks!

have you compacted? Right click the folder and select it from the menu. Space server side in IMAP account is not freed until you compact.
