I somehow made a mistake and lost my Firefox home page, the one where I had four of my frequently used bookmarks in the middle of the page. I've tried to get this back, tried the menu – options – use default – but that did not work. Is there any way I could get that particular homepage back? Also, how would I refresh a page? Is there a refresh symbol somewhere that I can't see?

You can try uninstalling the Mozilla and reinstall it, While reinstalling the Mozilla it will ask for restore previous setting, Check it and click next or import settings. It might restore your lost homepage. There is a reload icon on the top left corner of your bookmark bar. You can click on that icon to refresh the page or you can just press (ctrl+r) to refresh the page. Please Let me know if it worked or not.

That is the Firefox Home page that has either of these URLs: about:home or about:newtab.

You can check this pref on the about:config page and make sure it is set to true.

  • browser.newtabpage.enabled = true

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can click the button to "Accept the Risk and Continue".
