'Edit/Find in Page' won't turn off
I use the 'Edit/Find in Page' (Cntl + F) to look for something on a web page and, once I find it, I turn if by re-entering Cntl + F. This no longer works the same on my FireFox. Cntl + F still turns on the search bar. But I can't find anything to turn it off. I have tried 'Cntl + F', 'Edit/Find in Page', and there is no 'x' to close the bar. How do I close the Find bar?
Thank you

You can press the ESC key to close the Find bar if this bar has focus (Ctrl+F and ESC).
Hmm, there definitely should be an X at the right end of the bar. If you move the mouse to that area and pause, do you get the "Close find bar" tooltip? Have you noticed any other visual glitches around the same time this problem started?
I just click anywhere on the page to exit search without having to close the search bar.
Hi MistWing, do you keep the Sidebar open (either for bookmarks, history, or something else)? Firefox 92 may have a new issue with the right end of the Find bar being truncated when the sidebar is open. Please let us know if your situation fits that pattern.
You probably know there was a bug in Firefox 92.0 where users with the Sidebar open had this problem (Find bar close button off the screen). Firefox 92.0.1 was released today with a fix for this. It may take some time for your Firefox to detect the update. You can use the Help > About Firefox dialog to trigger an update check.
