Local email folder has wrong icon

more options

One of my email folders has somehow acquired the paper dart icon used for Sent folders, instead of the proper folder icon. I suspect this might have happened when I updated my Message Filters to copy email received from a new POP3 account to this (pre-existing) folder.

This is annoying, because this folder now appears in my Local Folders amongst Drafts, Sent, Junk etc instead in alphabetical order with my other local folders, where I expect it and where it used to be.

How can I fix this?

Chosen solution

Menu app icon > Account Settings Check all your pop accounts 'Copies & Folders' When sending messages.... If you have each pop mail accounts displaying in the Folder Pane and they use their own set of folders: select : 'Sent folder on' and choose the 'pop mail account name'

If you have set up that pop account as a deferred account - commonly called 'Global Inbox' which means that pop account does not appear in the Folder Pane - it does not have it's own folder because it is set up to use the 'Local Folders' account. Select 'Other' and choose 'Sent on Local Folders'
