I just downloaded Firefox onto my iPad and signed up for a Firefox account, and am on the app trying to add extensions. The extensions home page gives me a yellow pop up saying “To use these add-ons, you'll need to download Firefox.” When I click the download link, it routes me to the App Store, with the “open app” button since I’ve already downloaded Firefox. When I ignore the pop up and go to an extension, I get another pop up that says “ You'll need Firefox to use this extension” and then gives me a blue button that says “Download Firefox and get the extension.” Again, clicking that button sends me to “open app” in the App Store. I realized I was signed out of my Firefox account, so I signed in and got the same results. I powered my tablet off then on again, and got the same results afterwards. What can I try to convince my tablet*browser that I’ve downloaded Firefox and am browsing all this via the Firefox app?

Extensions for desktop Firefox are here. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/

Extensions for Android Firefox are here https://addons.mozilla.org/android/

There are no Firefox Extensions for mobile Firefox for iOS (iPhone/iPad) due to Apple's restrictions on what browser engines and such can be used. Firefox for iOS is basically a shell as a result.
