retrieving wrongly deleted emails

I had to re install windows and installed thunderbird again. I waited for 13000 emails to download and made folders for the ones I wanted to keep and stored them there. Then deleted all the emails left. I then discovered that I had only stored shortcuts to the emails I wanted to keep and had now deleted all my emails. Can I retrieve them?

Check your account online. If the messages are still there, then you can retrieve them.
