Whenever i use Firefox on my iPad, if I switch to another app and then back to Firefox, Firefox will automatically open up a new tab. I’d like it to stop, and just go to what I set it as in Preferences, or to what I’ve left open when I switched away from it. I’ve looked in Preferences and cannot find out how to stop it from opening new blank tabs by default.

Is there a way to stop it from doing this?

Unsure if this is what you are after, but if you go to Settings > Homepage > OPENING SCREEN and select "Last Tab" does that help?

It didn’t work. It is still opening up a new tab each time. :(
