How can I install Mozilla Firefox Version 24?
Hi Folks, I'm unable to connect to a device and my support folks are telling me that I must install Mozilla Firefox Version 24 in order to connect to the device.
I have no idea what my current version is but can you tell me how I can install Mozilla Firefox Version 24 for a short time so I can connect with my device?
Thanks, Frank [removed email and phone# from public forum]

Hi Frank, is the device 10 years old? It's kind of crazy that you would need a version of Firefox from 2013. That doesn't sound right.
Can you connect to this ancient device using Internet Explorer? It is more backwards compatible than modern browsers. To run it, type or paste iexplore.exe in the Windows 10 system search box.
Note: when I did that just now, Microsoft Edge popped up. I had to right-click its taskbar button and Close Window before I could actually use IE.
If you really really need to use the rather old Firefox 24.0 then you could try the portable Firefox 24.0 https://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/Mozilla%20Firefox,%20Portable%20Ed./Mozilla%20Firefox,%20Portable%20Edition%2024.0/ (just find your language).
It is basically the official Firefox builds with a custom launcher that keeps things self contained and will not affect your Firefox 113 install. You can even run this completely off a usb flash drive.
Btw this is a community support forum and not some form of private ticket or chat system so you should not post your email and phone# in public.
