Android Phone Display Formatting

Thankfully not too often are web site pages that are grossly out-of-format for my Android phone. Mostly everything is tiny. Yes, I can pinch expand or zoom in but then side back and forth scrolling is required to navigate and absorb the page. Not the optimum result. Very annoying.

I have font adjustments but those result in a similar and distroted page.

One web site option when available was a toggle for windows/cell phone that worked pretty good but it's not always provided. That implies the web site design is the formatting adjustment function.

Is the resultant cell phone display formatting a function of the visited web site, browser, phone device, etc or some combination of those entities settings?

The attachment is for the sumo web site page having this issue. https://client01.chat.mibbit.com/?server=irc.mozilla.org&channel=#sumo ok

P.S. To prevent loss of these entries, Compose this message offline and do attachments first.

Reviewed search for FF Backup. Lots of conversation and discussions about Sync to other devices and Finally Paul wordy evasive vauge stated THE IS NO FF BACK UP. NO FF BACKUP IS BEST MOST ACCURATE ANSWER. AND NO MENTION ONE WILL NEVER BE CREATED. YOU COULD SAVE A LOT OF TIME JUST BEING HONEST AND TO THE POINT. Of course you'll get how frustrating and Stupid that is But AT LEAST ONE KNOWS THAT "THE IS NO FF BACUP!"

Where is logic and efficiency?

OK, compounded problems. I get email replies for questions but there nothing populating here, making this conversation fractured. The last one (another question) I re-phrased the reply but find that a pain and potentially error prone. Is that caused by a reply option choice?

No way to reply to willjoe24421 email suggestion to "Backup and Reset" & "Reset device". There is no "Backup and Reset" on my Firefox version 109.1.1 Beyond that I am Very Warry about a reset. I've lost All my FF data in past. So you can see FF leaves no warm fuzzy confidence to assure data loss.

Then lastly, being most sites have no page format issue described, I can't see why reset would fix the mall formatted ones. I'd try but data loss is too expensive to prove the point.

Hi

I notice that you are using an older version of Firefox for Android. Please can you update from the Google Play store and see if this issue is still occurring.

With regards to the link that you are trying to open, the Mozilla IRC server has been closed for some time and is no longer available.

The IRC link resolves a page for me and it's a sample of the formatting issue. I have no real use for the site. I came across a reply email and I just checked it.

OK, so I see a new FF version 115.0.1 update offer on G Play. I did an upgrade last year and lost All My Data. My current FF version 109.1.1 has no obvious way to do a Backup. Even then I'm really leery since a Backup is never even mentioned anywhere. This stuff is important but no one seems to think so. Ideally there should be exact procedures for any app including it's specific version. Again, I'm Leery.
