My Thunderbird password has been compromised and I've been trying to create a new password for my email inbox. I've followed all the guides but just can't seem to do this!! My email location does not appear in 'saved passwords' which doesn't seem to be helping...please help!!

There is no "Thunderbird password". You do have an account password for your email account on your email provider's server. If you need to change the account password you'll have to do it on the server via webmail.
