Need to change from POP3 to Imap for server setting

I recently installed Tunderbird on my laptop for my appraisal business. It loaded the server settings to POP3 instead of IMAP. I am tring to convert it over to IMAP.

You cannot do that. Set up a new account in IMAP instead. The two can coexist and you can remove the POP at anytime.
