Good morning. I am using Thunderbird version 115.16.2 (32 bit).

Several days ago when every I attempted to get email by clicking on the "Get messages" button on my menu bar, nothing happened. If I went through the menu (File -> Get messages for -> email address, I would receive a box message titled "Add Security Exception". I have added a screen shot image.

If i clicked "Confirm Security Exception" I could then receive mail the way I normally do by clicking on the "Get Messages" button on the menu bar.

But the next day after booting my computer, I would need to repeat this once again.

This is not normal. Is it an issue with Thunderbird or should I take this up with my server provider.

Thanks Pete

Neither. What is your anti-virus software?

Click the 'Get Certificate' button at the exception pop-up, then the 'View' button.

Post a screenshot of the Certificate Viewer window with the issuer information visible.
