Wrong location
my computer always has my location wrong

That comes from your ISP that tells your system OS your location and region setting is part of your OS settings as well.
We recently moved from location 1 to location 2 (Making location generic as i figure no one cares where the heck i actually live...).
I am using two monitors. On one i have Floorp, a sort of FireFox offshoot. On the other i have Chrome. Running the exact same search in both browsers Chrome is using the right location (2) and Floorp insists on using location 1.
Floorp might be getting it's information from the ip address, but i would not understand why when reconnected after several hours of being off an ip address from the old area would be assigned to the router when connected at the new location (perhaps saved in a temporary NVRAM?), nor could i overlook the fact that Chrome figured the correct information on which to base location. Perhaps there was a setting i fiddled with in Floorp which i should not have?
