Did you move the profile and data to the new drive? And what do you mean Firefox web home page but can't find bookmark? If you didn't transfer them over they won't be there and do you have sync setup as well? Also sync isn't a backup but as sync server between devices to share the data if the old one is gone so will the data. You need to move the profile and data to a usb drive or file and import them back to the new setup to get those data back to remain permanent on the new system.
Hi Dianne, if you were able to sign into your Mozilla account without having to reset your password, then Sync might bring back your bookmarks. To check what is in the Sync cloud for your account, you can:
(1) Install the About Sync extension from
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/about-sync/
(2) Type or paste about:sync in the address bar to access the new page created by the extension
The page should show what bookmarks and other data are available in the Sync cloud. In the Bookmarks section, look at the Records list. Are your old bookmarks there?
To see what has Sync'd, you could try the Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+B). Do you see anything from your old system there?
P.S. If you still have access to the old computer or its hard drive, there are more options.
