I chose for Firefox to access my Internet Explorer Favorites, but they are not all there, so I want to learn how to undo this operation.

I think it was the computer tech who clicked on something when I told him it would be nice to have my Internet Explorer Favorites accessible in Firefox. Therefore, I don't know how we set it up. But most of the Favorites from Internet Explorer are missing in the drop down menu from Bookmarks. Because of this, I'd like to just undo the operation that put my Internet Explorer Favorites into Firefox. How do I remove the Internet Explorer Favorites from Firefox and keep them out? Thanks.

You can delete the "From Internet Explorer" bookmarks folder. You can find that folder at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder.

See Deleting bookmarks

You can try this if you didn't get all IE favorites:

Export the favorites in IE to an HTML file (bookmarks.html): File > Import and Export
Import the HTML file in Firefox 3: Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML: From File

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Import_bookmarks ("Import from another browser" and "Import from file")
