Have researched this virus to death. Carefully followed every detailed instruction to remove, but the virus returns at random. Previously it redirected to a site which downloaded a "blue screen" Trojan, which virtually destroyed my computer and took days to rebuild, thankfully with the help of a system restore.

Thank you. I had seen that before. None of the solutions suggested even found it, let alone removed it. A company called Webroot did exhaustive tests on it and felt that it was being caused by one of the add-ons in Firefox. I've given up and run Firefox only in "safe mode" so I never see this stupid redirect again.
