I need to know what I need to be compatible with Firefox 4.0. I downloaded the version. I have a .exe file on my desktop. What will happen to all my Firefox 3.6 "stuff" when I execute the file? Will I need to re-enter any connectivity (server, etc.) details in order for it to operate? What do I need to be concerned with insofar as customizing it to work?

Sorry, I am a rookie.

For the system requirements see http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/system-requirements.html

When you install Firefox 4, it will replace Firefox 3.6 and use your existing user data such as bookmarks and passwords. No need to re-enter any details.

It will check any add-ons that you have installed to see if they are compatible, if not compatible it will check for updates and disable those that have no updates.
