Screen freezes and I keep getting an "Unresponsive Script" message and have to Force Quit. How do I restore to before the update?

I downloaded the Mozilla update for Mac today and since then, every few minutes, my screen freezes and an "Unresponsive Script" message appears causing me to Force Quit Mozilla. How do I fix this? Thanks.
