Languages:

TOOLS => Options => Content => Languages => Click "Choose" and then "Select a language to add"

For character encoding:

TOOLS => Options => Content => Fonts and colors => Advanced (button) => Character Encoding

The answer is fine under windows. In my Linux OS there is nothing like options etc. Why Fitefox does not offer the same menu in windows and linux? TIA Joep
