I am running Firefox 10.0.1 with Linux Fedora 16. I have sound with my devices both CD & DVD players. But when I click to watch a video while browsing, I get no audio whatsoever. Can you help me?

I have no conflicts when playing CDs &/or DVDs. When I attempt to play a video online in Firefox, I have no audio.

The sound for Firefox may have been muted/turned down in sound settings..

In GNOME 3:

Start something playing in Firefox Click the speaker icon in the top right of the screen > Sound Settings > Applications

Check the volume and On/Off switch for a plugin or for Firefox itself (i.e. on mine when playing something with Flash it was "ALSA Plug-in [Plugin-Container]")
