why does Firefox need permission to my mobile camera/camcorder???

more options

I saw under the permissions that Mozilla Firefox needed permission to access my camera/camcorder. I just can't figure out for the life of me why a mobile web browser needed permission to take pictures and videos on my phone when my desktop which indeed has Mozilla Firefox does not need those permissions. If you could so kindly get back to me on why FF needs this very irrelavent permission to browse the web I would greatly appreciate it.

This permission allows you to upload images directly from the camera to a website. This could be on a web form, instead of first saving the image and uploading it from the gallery, or it could be through a script.
