It is not allowing me to put in passwords for bank accounts. just sit as it is working and then says it is sorry and I have to reboot to be able to use it

I go on two banking sites, I put in my username and then the site puts me to where I would put in my Password. The circle starts spinning and never stops. After a long time i X out. I can not start up Firefox again until I reboot. After rebooting i start Firefox and it comes up sorry .

It seems you have some issues with Firefox hanging. Try these tips here maybe they help?

This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that aren't send or otherwise blocked.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
