Firefox shows lines in wrong colour

A website I am building has a table with black borders on a black background, so the borders should not appear, but Firefox shows the borders in white. This happens on both OSX and XP versions. Disabling all addons on OSX version did not help. (Safari on OSX and Explorer on XP both show correctly).

Hi John,

This might possibly be a bug. Could you give a link to the site you’re working on so we can have a look at it?

Here are some things to try in the meantime. Try opening the page:

  • In the latest nightly build of Firefox, available at http://nightly.mozilla.org/
  • In Firefox’s Safe Mode (click “Help” > “Restart with Add-ons Disabled…”)
