This is pretty shady Mozilla.

When disabling only one setting: "Allow Firefox to install and run studies" it wrecks this site whether logging is or continuing as guest:

Even after logging in and everything running normal, disabling the studies run by Mozilla and a quick refresh breaks the functionality of the page. All cookies were accepted and the sharing of location was allowed. On a fresh, first run, wide open Firefox people. Literally, the only change that was made was unchecking that one box. In disbelief, i tested it over and over.

Why would disabling a telemetry setting, something that should be optional, cause this to happen? Seriously, what could possibly be the reason. I'd love to hear it.

This was the final nail in the coffin to me and this is since the 0.9x days.

"Nothing happens here" after the Microsoft OS install Thunderbird stopped working. I had no menu bar but it did download messages. I reinstalled Thunderbird and it installed Outlook then Thunderbird. I have a menu bar but none of the tasks is accessible. It downloads messages but I cannot open, delete or move them. I need to go to task manger to close the app. When I go there, there are multiple tasks for Thunderbird. Tried a shift start but I could not even see the inbox after deselecting addons. Just the menu bar and the rest is a blank page.

Tried a screen shot but this does not work.

Firefox updated itself to V135.0 this morning and now my LastPass icon is missing from the menu bar - top right corner. I can no longer simply click the LP icon to open the vault to access a password for any given website.

Please advise.

Following a switch off and restart triggered I think by a Windows update, Thunderbird is not displaying any messages in my Inbox, though it is showing the number of messages in the Inbox title bar. 'Drafts' and 'Sent' all display correctly, but the 'Inbox' is blank with a grey icon of an envelope and the statement: "No message found". I am an IT novice. I looked on the 'help' pages. I have checked that no filters are set. I have right-clicked on the 'Inbox' title to display the menu with 'properties' at the bottom. I have clicked on that to bring up the dialog box with the "Repair" icon. It shows 'Inbox' in the 'Name' box but I note that the 'Location' box is blank. Presumably it should not be. Presumably it should show either the location of locally stored messages on my hard drive, or the location of the messages on the email server. I am not sure which. I have found the directory on my hard drive where I believe the messages are stored locally. The size of the file suggests to me that they are all there. The periodic 'Checking for new messages' is happening, but nothing is displaying, though a check via webmail shows that new messages are arriving on the server. What should I do to get my Inbox to display correctly? With many thanks, Iain

When I turn on "Recommended stories" in settings, I get blank boxes instead of the news feed when I start a new tab. This problem started two-to-three weeks ago. Before that, it was working fine. I don't know what caused this problem or how to fix it.

I have two computers - one Windows 10 and one Windows 11 I have Firefox 135.0 installed on both of them. The old computer displays them right away. Both computers are sitting side-by-side on my desk, plugged into the same LAN, and using the same Comcast ISP connection. Also, the Edge browser on the Windows 11 computer shows the reviews right away - no spinny circle.

I have two profiles in my Thunderbird account. I want to create desktop shortcut for each profile. That way I can use the shortcut to get my email. On on profile I just want it to go straight to that account without asking for a password. On the other one I want it to ask me for a password. Is that possible and if so how can I do that?

I use Firefox as my default browser on my personal laptop. Recently, several websites that I frequent appear blank when I go to the url. I've checked my network connectivity and the websites as well. None are broken. The interesting thing is that I get the same issue when using edge. Anything else I can troubleshoot? Thanks!

I've dealt with this crap before only with firefox , I've also reported it more than like 3 x

So let me sum things up there is a million other browsers there pretty sure you knew that already?

If I experience this problem again I will uninstall the application

Situation: the keyboard and search keeps freezing and it's not letting me type anything in like it was trying to freeze my screen

There is no issues with the device including hard ware or software issues on the android
