In Firefox for Android, you can customize which notifications you receive from the app:

Open Firefox for Android.
Tap the three-dot menu button (either at the bottom right on some devices or in the upper right of the browser) .
Tap Settings.
Tap Site permissions.
Select Notification.
Choose Ask to allow to be prompted when notifications are available or Blocked to not see notifications at all.
