Hi all, I've looked high and low for this, but can't find it... I have a couple of laptops and a desktop - one of the laptops has started showing a sidebar with buttons. I really like the utility of it and want to do same on second laptop and desktop, but all the settings I've tried just give me the old style of bookmarks. The version I want has a side pane with curved corners, and several buttons remain along left, almost like a left hand side menu bar. But where's the on/off button to add it to my other machines? All using latest version, and all logged in as me - I don't understand why, if its an update, it hasn't done so to all computers?

Since two days, my firefow desktop browser (windows 11 - surface pro) switches to tablet mode (larger address bar suggestions etc) when the computer should be in desktop mode.

Situation: - Surface tablet without type cover connected - docking sation usb -c - 2 external displays connected - bluetooth keyboard and mouse connected

Windows recognizes 'desktop mode' since all menus (taskbar e.g.) are behaving in desktop mode (not larger). However, Firefox for some reason switches to tablet mode (see image attached). When I connect the typecover keyboard, firefox switches to desktop mode.

So it seems as if FF thinks the PC should be in tablet mode because the typecover is not connected. But it shouldn't because a dock is connected.

It worked perfectly for years, but since two days not anymore. It is not a major issue, but rather inconvenient. I already restarted PC and reinstalled FF.

I have downloaded the mozilla extension " screen recorder". After giving all permissions , the logo of this extension is not showing on my screen .SO, I am not able to use this extension facility. I have a Firefox account, I have a Bugzilla account (not used for a long time but was able to log-in back!). I try to understand the detail of some security bugs listed in the Firefox release notes by following the link (to bugzilla.mozilla.org) at the bug ID#... but I always get the reply from that site that I am not logged in with the "appropriate permissions". Actually, when I look at my Bugzilla profile (I am indeed logged in), I can't see any permission for that account. Who defines the permissions? When? What/who could change them? On what basis? Where/whom is the request to be sent to if any? Thanks in advance for the help.

안녕하세요. 한글사이트(네이버 등등)에 글을 쓰다보면 글의 띄워쓰기 간격이 갑자기 이상해집니다. 정상일때보다 훨씬 간격이 넓어지는데, 이때 메뉴에 있는 "깨진 사이트 신고"를 한번 들어갔다가 나오면 정상적으로 동작합니다. 이게 영어와 달리 한글 사이트만 이상한건지는 모르겠습니다. 한글 사이트 최적화에 좀더 검토를 부탁드립니다.

AniMixPlay was a popular streaming site for anime, but it has faced legal challenges and may no longer be accessible. Always use legal platforms to support creators.

I recently updated my browser, and I've noticed that while listening to music on YouTube, for some reason, the volume slider within the player also controls the stream volume within KDE Plasma's volume mixer, making for a much more frustrating experience. Now the volume resets to what was set on YOUTUBE rather than sticking to what was set in the VOLUME MIXER every time a new video plays or any time the page refreshes. This means that the volume gets reset every. single. time. The issue with this is not only that YouTube's volume slider isn't as accurate as KDE Plasma's, but also that a media player in a browser shouldn't be controlling its own system volume within the mixer because it causes issues and frustrations like these.

How do I separate player and stream volume?
