Until the last couple of days, I could go to any website without having to put in my Primary Code, now Firefox is asking for the code on EVERY website and I am reluctant to put it in because it would then leave all of my accounts exposed if I leave my computer.

I'm happy using Password Manager, but I want to choose when I put in the Primary Password and not be dictated to by an algorithm, particularly if it doesn't involve membership and I am just looking for information.

How can i stop it from happeniing?

Hi,

when I bookmark a website, for example "My Awesome Video" (www.youtube.com...), certain websites add something to the title. Youtube for example adds " - Youtube" so that the title is not "My Awesome Video" anymore but "My Awesome Video - Youtube". Is there a way, to prevent this behaviour?

Cheers Jan

I can't access/change printing instructions in PDFs because of a popup about highlighting PDFs. I tried Settings/Privacy & Security/PDF settings. I'm supposed to scroll down to "PDF Viewer" section but that's not available in the drop down menu.

Overnight, the Firefox on both my computers has been updated without any warning. This morning, on start-up, it became apparent that Firefox thought I was starting from scratch - set as default browser, etc, etc - and I find that all my bookmarks have gone, along with most of my login passwords. It's like I've suddenly been blinded!! I've tried to follow the Help guides, but they're clearly written for someone with a greater understanding than I have, and the one thing I did follow ended in failure when the file I was to open in my profile appeared to contain nothing. This is not what I expect from a browser that has been my default for years! Please help - in the simplest terms possible. P.S. I have a folder on my desktop named Old Firefox Data, which appears to be from December, but I have no idea how it got there.
