I went into my Firefox settings and into Extensions, and there was an extension in there called Clear Think. I didn't install this extension and can find absolutely no information about it online. I removed it, but am curious as to where it came from.

hello, when you search for "ClearThink" it's apparent that it is an adware program. those unnecessary programs commonly get installed when you download software from some download portals which bundle the installers with this sort of junkware.

you might want run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.
