There is no home page setting. If you are looking to use a search engine as the home page you can simply search by tapping into the address bar. You can choose to search Google, Bing, Wikipedia and others. Just typing your query and pressing enter will search Google.

The default is currently Google, though it may change. You can adjust your default search provider in the Firefox settings. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-my-default-search-engines-firefox-android

If you really really want the homepage behavior there is a bit of a hack around this. You can add a website to the home screen and use that as your launcher. Long press on a history or bookmark item to get this option.
