Why does Craigslist.org automatically redirect me to montreal.craigslist.ca even after I've disabled location tracking & cookies for all Craigslist pages?

My ISP is located in Montreal, but I am not. Since switching to my ISP in Montreal, every time I go to Craigslist, or Facebook, or any of a number of websites, the website assumes I am in Montreal and feeds me Montreal-specific content. I couldn't figure out how to change this. Then I realized that I must have Location Tracking turned on. So I tried to change this for Craigslist specifically. First I disabled Location Tracking (In the URL bar, typed about:config, Typed geo.enabled, Double clicked on the geo.enabled preference: changed from "default" to "user set." Then I went to "page info" for montreal.craigslist.ca and blocked Access Your Location and removed all cookies. Then I did the same for craigslist.org and craigslist.org/about/sites. Yet when I type in craigslist.org, it STILL automatically re-directs to montreal.craigslist.ca. How is this happening if Firefox and Craigslist aren't tracking my location and Craigslist isn't storing cookies on my computer??

Cached content. In about:permissions search for craigslist and forget the site.
