How To Remove the sponsored links from my bookmarks?
I have sponsored links knocking my actual bookmarks off the page. How do I turn off the sponsored content that I do not want being inserted into my bookmark page, like firefox ads? I will decide my content, or go back to another browser without this bull.

Are you referring to the new tab page?
Yes, the bookmark/tabs page. The page Mozilla seems to think it is okay to load undesired content to, knocking my desired content off.
Hello
Do you think maybe you can attach a screen shot for us to be on the same page? additionally, i believe this can be settled by installing antivirus addon to your firefox to get rid of this adverts. Adblock plus is free and really good.
It is a Mozilla sponsored ad, for Mozilla that is causing the problem, not an outside ad. I am already running anti virus, ABP, Defender, and the registered version of Malwarebytes. Not only do they knock what I want off the page, they set their adverts so that you can't even close them. A screenshot would just show you a page of boxes that are links to the content they have a thumbnail of in the box. It would not show you what has been bumped off the page to make room for the Mozilla content. I can do so if you really wish, but I don't see the point.
hi again
Kindly attach the screenshot. It would really help a lot.
See this support article about how the new tab page works.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/new-tab-page-show-hide-and-customize-top-sites
The instructions don't help, when the controls do not work with the pinned Mozilla content, and you can't close or alter them.
I went to get you a screen capture, and now the entire page is different. It now has only 6 big tiles covering the entire page. The Mozilla content doesn't show anymore.
What do the 6 tiles have right now?
If you want to remove the sponsored directory links on the about:newtab page then use these steps:
You can set the browser.newtabpage.directory.source pref to an empty string on the about:config page.
- browser.newtabpage.directory.source = <empty>
You can delete the directoryLinks.json file in the parent location of the disk cache to remove the currently stored directory links.
- delete directoryLinks.json
See the about:cache page for the location of the disk cache and go one level up.
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
Note that the "AppData" folder is a hidden folder.
