When I select 'Write' from the Thunderbird toolbar, the Write window opens which allows me to compose an email. There is no toolbar or menu bar available so I cannot send the message or do much else. At the top of the 'write' window, there is no blank area for me to right click to be able to select 'toolbar' or 'menu'

Windows shortcut to reveal hidden Menu bars, the alt key or F10.

From the Menu Bar select View-Toolbars and turn the missing toolbars back on.
