Yesterday my computer was hacked. When I got that all fixed the one thing that came back on line in a mess was my Thunderbird E-mail. I have my columns pretty much back in order but have lost my MESSAGE preview pane, which I want on the side, not below.

The only information I can find is on FOLDER PREVIEW PANES(!).

Please help me get my message previews pane back up. I've been told how to turn off message pane. I'm going crazy here with all this useless information!

I have a Dell Laptop and am running Windows 7 and use Firefox for my browser.

Thank you, Lorraine Calvert

Figured it out myself. It was hidden behind the titles. I was able to catch the side to side arrow all the way over to the right, catch the arrow, pull to the left and there was the message preview pane. You should definitely have this in your support information!
