I was using Firefox for long. I have Bookmarked so many webpages. Now, recently the FF got updated. I seem to have lost all my Bookmarks, Saved Passwords etc.

I went to: Help -> Troubleshoot info -> Show folder (Shows my current updated folder.. right ??) -> places.sqlite

I cannot open the places.sqlite. Bookmark -> Unsorted Bookmark -> Import/ Backup -> Restore didn't help either as it cannot open sqlite (expects JSON).

Please help me to get my Bookmarks, Saved Passwords back ..!!

You are using an old version of Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version 47

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?
