Being able to change the font style used to work for me in the normal FF Options page. It doesn't appear to be working anymore. I really don't want to have to do a refresh, I'm just looking for my fonts to change on a couple of pages, one of the pages it works on the other it does not. I'm trying to change it on my Yahoo homepage and I'm positive it used to work for that. So is there any way I can go into About Config and see if it works through there. I'm using FF Portable 50.0.2. Not sure why I couldn't find a single add on that will change the font styling of a web page, there's a million add ons for virtually everything, and a million that will change the font size but not the style. Stylish is way out of my league, and there was one chrome extension that I signed up on the FF add ons page just so I could use the chrome ext., but it didn't work after the install and chrome's add on pages are absolutely useless to figure out why. Thanks.

You can't change the font for a web page or about page via the about:config page. You would have to use the userContent.css file or Stylish to override CSS rules on web page or in the user interface.

You can usually check the current style rules via the right-click context menu in the built-in Inspector and possibly add new rules to test if your own rules work.

Thanks. This is all one complete bummer then. Well onward I look, there has got to be one single somethin' or other that can do this without having to know how to use Stylish.

What kind of changes do you want to make?

You can modify font-sizes via the user interface (Options/Preferences -> Content), but keep in mind that some web pages may use fixed values for positioning element that can cause text to overlap or disappear.

I just want to be able to change the font style, not the size, of my yahoo homepage and another page I frequent alot. I can change the other page but only if I uncheck allow pages to use there own fonts. I may end up doing that if I think that it's not breaking other websites too much. But I cannot change the font style of my yahoo, and I swear I've done it before. My computer is 2 days old, I don't see how anything could've become too corrupt yet. Even though it's only been two days, I don't want to do a refresh because I just took way to much time setting up ublock origin how I want it.

Note that you can run into issues on websites that use a special icon font to display small images.

Thanks, maybe I'll try Stylish if I get brave.
