How can I create a "Private Browsing" window shortcut on my desktop?
Hi all -
Instead of firing up FF and then clicking on the toolbar icon - "Open a Private Browsing Window" every time, is there a way to create a Desktop Shortcut to click on which brings up FF in Private Browsing mode?
Perhaps I can place it in my quick launch toolbar.
Also -
Is it possible to set a default "homepage" for Private Browsing mode?
Any help always appreciated. Thanks.

Create a new desktop shortcut for Firefox. Edit the Target line in Properties by adding a space and then -private at the end of that line.

And as far as opening to a specific URL see this: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Command_Line_Options#-url_URL

You can add the -private-window switch to the command line of a Firefox desktop shortcut to open a new private mode window.
