How can I open my Inbox?

more options

Since yesterday, I can't open my Inbox. I get this page, and nothing in any of the menus gets me to see the Inbox. There may be a problem with my not having the latest version of Thunderbird. I have never been able to download a new version through Thunderbird itself. And I'm afraid to download a new version from the website and lose my old messages.

The Thunderbird program and your data files are separate. Reinstalling Thunderbird does not affect your data. That being said, like all computer operations a backup is a good practice. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data
