how do I download e-mail from more than one server
My question has two parts: First part; I have two e-mail accounts one with AT&T and the other with Spectrum. I initially set up Thunderbird with the AT&T account and it worked fine and still does. All of hte mail that goes to my AT&T account is brought over to TB when I select "Get Messages" What I want to be able to do is get all of my e-mail from the Spectrum account in the same manner. I just tried to ADD the Spectrum account to TB and when I selected "Get Messages" I got an error message that reads; "The current operation on "inbox" did not succeed. The mail server for account XXX@charter.net responded: (CLIENTBUG) Select Command is not valid in this state.
The Second part of my question is; I want to get all of the old e-mails form both accounts. I tried to do this by selecting all of my read e-mails and changed them to "Unread" and tried to get all messages. This did not work, all I got was the latest messages. I know I can Forward them, but since there are about 800 total between the two accounts I would like a better option. Thanks

The current operation on "inbox" did not succeed. The mail server for account XXX@charter.net responded: (CLIENTBUG) Select Command is not valid in this state.
Verify your account settings for Charter. http://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/adding-new-account-mozilla-thunderbird
You may also try to delete the password Thunderbird has remembered for your account (if you told Thunderbird to remember the password in the first place).
If that doesn't fix it, talk to Charter.

Please explain 'old e-mails' in more detail.
