I get a weird spammy screen every time I open a new tab
Firefox 55.0.3
Had to run virus checker after downloading some stupid app. Then Firefox started doing this. I have iterated through this sequence and still getting it deleted Firefox Virus checker disk cleaner installed firefox deleted firefox virus checker installed firefox

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
