There used to be a button to just add to bookmarks. Why did you take it off? Now there are more steps to go through. Why do your 'improvements' make it harder???

Do you not have a Star in the Address Bar ? That is your 1 click bookmark. fyi: the 3 Dots beside that is a Menu.

If you do not have the Star or it is not working Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I don't have the star. I have the 'library' lines. I looked for the star in customize, not there. It was there before you changed everything. I also don't have 3 dots. I have 3 horizontal lines at the end for menu.

There lays the problem then. no star when should have one and no dots when should, possible the only things discovered yet....not working.

Wow, ok....uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles

Note: the Profile maybe the issue so backup.

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.1 with a Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
