I have a few identical (all the same make and model) webcams that are accessed through their built-in web servers.

I connected to 2 of these cameras. Firefox prompted me to save the login, and I DID. A few minutes later, I manually deleted the logins (Options | Browser Privacy | Forms & Passwords | Saved Logins...) Now, when I connect to these cameras, Firefox doesn't ask me anymore to save the Login.

How do I make Firefox to ask me to save the Login again for these sites.

First make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History).

To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:

Did you try to close and restart Firefox?

Did you check the password exceptions?

You can check the Password Manager to see if there are logins with an empty name or password.

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security: Logins: "Saved Logins" -> "Show Passwords"

1. "make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode" I am not.

2. "Did you try to close and restart Firefox?" Yes

3. "Did you check the password exceptions?" Yes

4. "You can check the Password Manager to see if there are logins with an empty name or password." There are no saved logins.

Your response appears to be a generic response for saved login issues. Please CAREFULLY read the SPECIFICS of my problem , and respond to my specific problem.
