Email from various addresses keeps going into my trash folder. How do I "whitelist" it... or ensure I get it in the inbox? They're in my address list already.

This is a support forum for Mozilla Firefox. You will have to contact your e-mail provider for help. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/problems-with-email-how-to-find-help

Or are you talking about Thunderbird? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/thunderbird

Sorry that's not helpful FredMcD I'm using Thunderbird, and the 2 questions the link led to just posed more questions to me that I didn't know the answer to. I have had a filter for some of these addresses. I re-installed Thunderbird and it was deleted. I've set up another and it's not working, everything from those addresses (and others that I'd like to receive and never set up filters for) goes into junk.

You say that you are using Thunderbird, so FredMcD gave you the correct link :

When you click on the 'Ask a Question' at the top of the page, you can post your question there (on the Thunderbird support forum).

The reason I told you to contact your e-provider is different providers also provide different bells and whistles.

In the case of my provider, addresses/domains blacklisted addresses/domains whitelisted sorting of incoming emails to folders emails from unknown sent to junk folder

and so on.
