The security in FF is horrible.
Why have you reenable that bad sites can spam infinite amount of dialogs leaving the user the only option to close FF from the task manager including all the tabs? You had this fixed for years and now it's not working any more. Why even use OS dialogs in the tabs. Layers of stupidity. And you know about redirects? You can't count per url or domain. And it doesn't matter how you count. It's completly flawed. Fix this. This it really annoying.

Hi, Firefox is not a Security Company and Support Volunteers do not make Firefox and do not know what you are referring to.
If wanting to, you can go to Help --> Submit Feedback and a Team will review your constructive message.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Hi, From your wording, I get the impression that you think you are directly contacting developers or Mozilla employees. You are not. This is a community support forum. The people that answer questions here are users just like you, volunteering their time.
But since you're here, maybe we can help. ☺️ Can you provide the address of the site that is giving you trouble?

I'm not aware of a change to the limits on JavaScript alert/prompt/confirm dialogs. Maybe there is a new technique involved.
If you are encountering the problem of a framed page that reloads and re-shows a dialog when you cancel it, such as the basic authentication dialog, press the Esc key quickly several times to halt the cancel-reload cycle. Then use Ctrl+w to close the tab.
Why even use OS dialogs in the tabs.
What dialogs? Dialogs to access the file system to upload/download files? What problem is that causing?
Thanks for the replies.

When I said dialog, I meant modal dialog.
I think it's the login prompt. So when you close the prompt you get redirected to another url (or it's loaded anyway) with the same content. Then the prompt shows again. So the counter is bypassed.
It's a ransom attempt too. So you are supposed to pay "MS" and enter the response in the prompt. And this happend to me twice in a row when I had some important tabs open.
Is it possible to disable the modal function of the dialogs?

That is the one where you have to press the Esc key several times in a row quickly to break the cancel => reload cycle.

Not that I'm aware of. It's one of the last (possibly the last) that is "window modal" instead of "tab modal" and there is a bug on file to make it "tab modal" but I don't recall a change being imminent.
