Just bought myself webcam (Logitech C922). Tried to use it on Facebook messenger, Google Hangouts and other websites. It just wont work. I grant access when asked by a specific website, I update Logitech drivers, still wont work. In Google Chrome everything works like a charm. Please assist.

And sometimes I get this message

I've always found Logitech support to be excellent. Why not give them a try.

Yes. That is what I'm going to do. And probably set Chrome as default browser.

Hello OscarLev,

Would you try this please :

When you're on a site where you want to use the camera, click on the 'i' in a circle, next to the padlock at the left side of the address bar.

Then click on the little black arrow on the dropdown (next to 'Connection') and then on "More Information", which will take you to "Page Info".

Click on the 'Permissions" tab and scroll down to "Use the Camera". Uncheck "Use Default" and check "Allow".

Then close and restart Firefox.

Next : Go to Options => Privacy & Security and scroll down to "Permissions" => Camera => Settings

Any luck ?

Thanks for the answer. Tried this with no success.

This sounds more like a O/S issue that controls access to camera and mic. Have you looked there as well?

I looked there. Doesn't seem to be a problem. Problem is only when using Firefox. Chrome and Edge work fine.

I just gave up on this one and use Chrome. So far no solution.
